My love for sewing surfaced in my 20s. Tired of wearing boring band t-shirts at concerts, I craved clothing that reflected my individuality. (The irony is that my closet is now full of what I used to consider boring band tees!) Designing and making my own shirts sparked a passion that extended beyond apparel. Soon, I was sewing bags and wallets for myself, eventually venturing into home goods.

Never one to follow a pattern, I spent hours in sketchbooks designing my own. Improvised patchwork from scraps became a signature element of my work. Transforming humble scraps into custom creations through color and pattern play brings me endless joy.

Improvisational Patchwork Bags

I’ve always had a passion for sustainability, and being an avid sewer, I hated seeing fabric scraps go to waste! So, I started saving them, and soon enough, these quilted zippy bags became my go-to project. They’ve led me to explore color combinations I wouldn’t have used in my usual designs.

Angular Clutch Wallets

I’ve turned a basic envelope clutch into a chic wallet, complete with card slots and a secure snap closure. Vintage lace from my great grandmother’s crafting stash adds a personal touch.
