Grace Wedding Invitation Suite
I designed Grace with traditional formal weddings in mind. I don’t love script typefaces (because they can be hard to read and cheesy), but this version of Bickham Script (available on Adobe Typekit) is delicious! It comes with dozens of different glyph options per letter so you can make your pieces as fancy (read: swashy) or as plain as you want. For instance, take a look at the lowercase “l” in “Helen” and the lowercase “l” in “Shelby” — same letter, totally different option. Love.
Also? If you’re a fan of Peaky Blinders you might notice my nod to its infamous couple. I haven’t finished watching Season 3 yet, so no spoilers, please! I was definitely obsessing over Cillian Murphy when I designed these. I’m considering adding a subtly geeky wedding invite to each set I design (and have the next one designed!) — to keep things fun.
Customization Options
Grace is available in plain (solid colors), but not in watercolor or abstract art. I’m not offering watercolor or abstract art versions because the script is very delicate and would be hard to read on those backgrounds and I didn’t want to show poor judgement in my designs. People can definitely custom order that via a convo (for no extra charge). Grace is available in 9 different colors, but uou can customize your colors (wording, and sizes, too).
Also — now that I look at these, I don’t love the monogram in the background. People can definitely remove that (for no extra charge) … I should put that in the listing.
Type geeks: seriously … look at the lowercase “p” on the RSVP! If you use Adobe Creative Cloud and want to feel pretty, download Bickham Script Pro 3. OK. Type nerd moment over. 🙂
As with the rest of these suites, Grace has a matching RSVP postcard, A2 RSVP, Save the Date postcard, A2 & A7 Save the Date Cards, envelope liners (in watercolor or abstract art), table numbers, thank yous (A2 folded or flat), customized address block, and monogram.
Although Grace isn’t available in abstract art or watercolor, you can order envelope liners in either of those options via convo when ordering (as shown in the bottom image). I’m pretty open to changing options for free when it doesn’t require additional design time for me.
These are so delicate and pretty. I want to have a party so I can print these and send them out to my guests. If I did that, I’d probably print them in a metallic color on a silk paper.
Custom Printing Options
Ooh! That brings me to something I haven’t mentioned. If you’re a bride and are in the market for letterpress or offset print invites, I can set that up for you (for no extra charge — you pay for printing, but not for my coordination)! These files are designed to be printed at home or professionally. Grace is a great candidate for letterpress printing (minus the monogram in the background) because it’s a solid color. I can price out either or both letterpress and offset printing for people who are interested. If you are printing more than 100 invites and matching items, offset printing (in one color) might be cheaper for you anyway.
Okay, I’m kind of excited about these invitations and the prospect of getting to print them on real paper with a real printer! Somebody order these and let me play with paper and printing. 🙂 If you’re a friend, I’ll throw in the design for free (and maybe some of the printing, depending on how good of a friend you are 😉 ) as a wedding gift.
