DIY and Crafts, Migrate

I finished my first quilt!

I’ve just been posting quilt tops on my blog so far, but this is the first FULLY completed quilt.

I posted the quilt tops for this one a while back.

I had given the top and the backing/binding to my good friend Adria to get it quilted since my machine wasn’t about to handle it (actually, it broke altogether a week and a half ago).  I met up with her and a bunch of my girlfriends  in Chicago last weekend and she gave me the completed quilt. I’m SOOO excited since I’ve done so many tops and never seen one completed before.

Without further ado…. here it is!

Wow! Does she have one of those machines that does the quilting automatically? ‘Cause that looks way too perfect.

I know you’re swamped with projects, but if your load ever lightens up i might like to discuss a potential quilt with you.

[…] Anyway, I got an e-mail from her yesterday letting me know she did a write-up on me on her blog.  She featured my tea cup I made for my friend’s mom’s benefit, my lava flowers cup/saucer set, my white musical flowers fiestaware set, my green pyrex birdies and coffee set and my musical flowers on pink plate.  Oooh ooooh… and my wonderland quilt.
