I jumped on the bandwagon and did that Three Fictional Characters thing that I keep seeing on social media.
If you haven’t seen it, you pick (or your friends pick — not sure on the rules) three fictional characters that describe you. This is much harder than it sounds. I came up with a few possibilities, and a friend helped with a few more:
- Tina Belcher (Bob’s Burgers)
- Angela Chase (My So-Called Life)
- April Ludgate (Parks and Recreation)
- Ramona Flowers (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World)
- Ilana Wexler (Broad City)
- Audrey Horne (Twin Peaks)
Here’s what I ended up with:
Tina Belcher is a no-brainer for me. I’m socially awkward most of the time and am a hardcore geek about the things I really love. I was close to literally being a Tina in middle school.
Ramona Flowers seems appropriate because of her style and because of her evil exes. I was a little worried some of mine might crash our wedding.
April Ludgate because she’s married to Chris Pratt’s character. She is sarcastic and seems to hate everything, but really is sweet on the inside. I was torn between Audrey Horne, April Ludgate, and Ilana Wexler. I ended up picking April because Audrey is a little evil and manipulative and Ilana is 110% extroverted all the time. I’m a little Ilana when I’m in extrovert mode, but mostly I’m an introverted Tina.
Well that was fun.
