No, don’t worry, I’m not hopping on the thankful bandwagon. I’ll be glad when that’s over.
Really, there’s only one thing I’ve been thankful for this entire month of November.
It’s that the last of the Twilight series has finally hit the theatres!
I think I’m more excited than all the fans.
In fact, I can’t wait for the end of it. Scrolling through blogs that I read regularly has become ever-so-painful with Twihard updates left and right. It’s almost as bad as when 50 Shades of
S&M Bad Writing Gray was a thing this past summer.
I can remember sitting on Mark’s parents’ couch 4ish years ago and seeing my first glimpse of the Twilight series via a trailer. Mark and I both looked at each other and said, “Wow, I don’t know what that is, but that is going to suck. Hard.” (OK, maybe not that exact quote, but that sums it up).
So, to celebrate what is hopefully the end of the Twilight craze, I bring you Buffy The Vampire Slayer slaying Edward. This is kind of long, so just skip to 4:30 if you want to see the slaying. Because I know I would love to see Edward burst into a pile of dust (rumor has it Robert Pattison does too).
Ah. Much better.
What’s really scary is that the acting in the Buffy scenes is much better than the Twilight scenes. Or maybe it’s just the writing …
Twilight fan? I won’t judge. Okay. Maybe a little.
