I was waiting to get my hair cut last night, and I was tricked into reading Shape because Jillian was on the cover. I read her article and foolishly kept flipping through. Until I found this:

Anyway, last week I told you I was going to give you 5 of my favorite albums. Mark and I got to talking I realized that 5 wasn’t enough. And that I can’t give mine to you in any particular order.
So this week, I give you Jimmy Eat World’s Futures.
I have some bittersweet memories with Kill and 23 (I can still taste the tears when I listen to 23 … breakups suck, but I got the BEST end of that deal), but I have the best memories of listening to this album the summer that I fell in love with running.
Night Drive is probably one of my favorite Jimmy Eat World songs, and it’s on this album. It’s beautiful, and haunting, and Jimmy.
Also, I wanted to share this easy peasy smoothie recipe that I’ve been digging all week. It is Healthy Living Thirsty Thursday after all.
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 scoop vanilla protein (1/4 c)
- 1/4 c peanut flour
- 2-3 ice cubes
- 8-10 oz almond milk
- Pour ingredients into a blender until smooth.
- You can use peanut butter instead of peanut flour, but that will have less protein and more fat.
