Howdy folks!

I’ve been sooo busy at work and with life lately that I haven’t had a chance to update on anything really interesting.

However, I did learn something exciting at work today.  Have you heard of QR codes? I’m probably a bit behind the times here — I’ve heard of them, but I can’t use them since I don’t have a smart phone. QR codes are these little barcode dealies that hold information, like links to websites, phone numbers, video etc.  How do they work? You scan them with your smart phone or web cam and read them using a free QR code reader.  I have yet to find a desktop app — so point me in that direction if you find one.

There are so many fun and exciting things you can do with them …

… like say, a scavenger hunt?

Who’s up for a scavenger hunt?  Don’t all raise your hands at once.  Keep in mind — you get a cool prize:

Winner of the scavenger hunt giveaway receives a personalized tattoo mug.  Keep it to under 10 letters, please. Don’t want your mug to get too sloppy.

SO, the scavenger hunt? Here you go:

Scan and read the codes to answer this question: What is the common factor between these three things/objects?

EDITED: TO WIN: leave a comment with your answer and your name/e-mail address on my blog by 11:59 PM September 30.  All comments have to be approved — so if you have the correct answer, I will edit it out of your comment so there’s no cheating! I will pick a winner on October 1 and craft you up an awesome mug.
