Oh, I am so not ready for Saturday! Between moving, weddings and other events, I hardly had time to create anything since the last Market Day.
But, regardless, it’s here. It’s Saturday. From 9-2.
Last month’s moving sale went so well, I am almost out of things to sell for this month!
New this month:
I will be accepting credit cards!
I am offering a delivery service.
Artwork and other purchases become tiresome to carry around when hopping from Market Day to the Farmer’s Market and other downtown Des Moines events. Want all your purchases* delivered directly to your door? No problem! For $3 (and a purchase), I will deliver your items anywhere in the Des Moines/Ames area (note: anywhere is within 25 miles of each city). In town for the weekend and need delivery elsewhere? Let’s talk. I can ship as well. Cost will depend on weight and area it needs to be shipped.
*purchases must collectively weigh under 25 pounds and fit in my vehicle. No, I do not drive a truck.
Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis — so if I’m feeling like He-Woman, I will cart your antique anvil to your home, but it might cost more than $3.
I have market bags.
I never know if I should bring bags for people to carry their purchases in, and I feel bad providing plastic, so I thought that making market bags would be a great solution. Hopefully I have time to make some between now and Saturday AM. Otherwise, they will be offered starting in July. These will be exclusive to Market Day and not be sold on Etsy.
Here’s a sneak peek of some of my favorite items that I’ll be selling …
Handpainted upcycled ceramics (single pieces between $3-$15, sets $35-$75)

Fabric Scrap Greeting Cards ($5 for a pack of 5 with envelopes, $2 for single card and envelope)

Clutch Wallets (between $10-$20 depending on size)

I would love to see you there!
